Agreed, by the time you achieve a certain reward, you've already gotten way better stuff. Same with low level crafting gear. Extending Baton/Reinforced Vest for example are useless.
Worse than nothing because they are false motivation.
Seeing as the gear store is pretty limited at least at the moment last 2 items per faction should be worth it. At a minimum. And for the free loaders you get a couple o gold doubloons.
