Cost Of Drone Upgrades Has Been Reduced

It looks like GLU reduced the cost of upgrade our drones.
Yesterday to upgrade my Shield Generator, I was paying the following:
Level 10 Upgrade
165 Power Module - 13,740 Data Crystals
65 Power Module - 9,449 Data Crystals
21 Power Module - 7,561 Data Crystals
8 Power Module - 7,004 Data Crystals
Today the cost is as follows:
165 Power Module - 3,602 Data Crystals
65 Power Module - 2,522 Data Crystals
21 Power Module - 2,047 Data Crystals
8 Power Module - 1,907 Data Crystals
This will make upgrading easier and faster, and will even allow us to start fusing all of the lower modules so that we can clean of our parts inventory.

HANDLES: PLEASE TELL YOUR CRACK TEAM OF DEVELOPERS TO UPDATE THE TABLE ON THE SERVER!!!!!
I believe what's happened is that the values have gone down on the device (client side), but the server still has the old values. So, when you try to fuse multiple parts, the client says "SURE", but the Server says "F-You, you don't have enough crystals", so you get a sync error.
IF you happen to try to fuse 1 or 2 parts and you have enough crystals based on the server values, you can do the upgrade... BUT... next time you restart, the rest of the crystals will be taken from your vault because the server stores the true balance and updates the client.
SO..... don't upgrade drone weapon parts until this gets sorted.
(I could be completely off base, but this is what I think is happening...)
I was able to do 3 levels of upgrades this morning. Just went on the upgrade site and they have put back the original costs for upgrades.
Well, then you are not going to like it, I just upgraded my Level 12 Shield Generator and the costs are as follows:
1000 PWR 165 EXP Module - 4,148 Data Crystals
800 PWR 65 EXP Module - 2,886 Data Crystals
125 PWR 21 EXP Module - 2,411 Data Crystals
100 PWR 8 EXP Module - 2,271 Data Crystals
Even though I only have my Shield Generator left to up grade, I personally am glad that the prices have dropped. With these kinds of prices, I can think about using up the lower level modules. Right now I have 172 pages of modules. At the old prices of 8300 Crystals to fuse a 100 PWR 8 EXP Module, there was no way that I was willing to spend that many Crystals, With our vaults at 28K, we could fuse 3 100PWR modules for a total of 24XP. Compare that to 1 1000 PWR 165 EXP Module that would cost 15K in Crystals and it made no sense to even think about fusing the lower modules. At 2200 per 8xp module, I can strong consider fusing 10-12 of these modules with a full vault.
We had the same problem in CKS. We were all fusing only the big modules and we were getting a glut of weapon parts. Some of the players had 700 and more pages of parts and it was taking 15 mins to load the parts pages. It is so ban in CKS that players are asking GLU support to wipe out all of their weapons parts
just wondered which platform are you both on? I just now fused 2 - 165 modules with no problem. Received no errors and lost no crystals. 2 more fuses and my shield generator will be level 13. That will make 4 levels without seeing this problem that you guys are reporting. Strange

I feel your pain. Thankfully for a change, I am on IOS. I have been able to upgrade my Shield Generator to level 13 (747/1370). That is the good news.
The bad news is, my base is fully upgraded, my Drone is fully upgraded except for the Shield Generator. My x6.5 SAWFISH GAUSS and my x6.5 CACHALOT HEAVY are both fully upgrade as far as Crystals will upgrade them. The fourth round of Crystal upgrades take 34.88K Crystals. My max vault is 28K, brilliance on the part of GLU.
Once the Shield Generator is upgraded, where will I be putting my Crystals?
I take it that you are on Android also. Here on IOS, everything is just humming along. My SG is now Level 13 (1025/1370) and there hasn't been any issues at all.
Yep, running the latest version of Android on a Galaxy S6.
Guess then, that Android software is the problem. I can fuse a small xp part to my drone in a couple sets, but then the restart happens, and I loose extra crystals. Still no change (but who expected one over the weekend).

It's strange - twice I actually had the 165XP drone upgrades work at the lower cost... no explanation... but usually it's at the old costs and requires a restart to stay in sync...
Well, thanks to Handles, it looks like he has taken care of another issue. I sent him a PM, and he responded that he was on it. I did try to PM both listed forum moderators, but their inboxes were full.
