I do not understand the challenge: get 10 kills when crosshair is red (out-of-range)

This challenge is easy but I have 1/10 only, and it's not like I have. I*think crosshair is red, when the last enemy is you get a red circle. but as I kill him (out-of -range) ??? Please help me. Thanks

    It`s easy. Choose sniper mission with assault weapon. Don`t use laser point. try iron.
