Can you restore game progress?

I was having trouble with the sound of the game (no sound) so i decided to uninstall and re-install but when I did it erased all my progress. I used ifunbox to copy the "save file" thinking I could just copy it after re-installing but it doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to get my progress back? I have an IPad 2 where I was a level 27 or 28 with a ton of extras.

    Well it looks like I will be deleting this game. The iCloud sync didnt work, and "customer service" (if you can call it that) told me to call Apple and complain.

    I am sorry that your app has a bug where it wont sync with iCloud, but I should go complain to Apple about it. What a waste of time and money, last glu game I will ever play. Frustrating too because it was fun.

    Haha, funny my post just "auto-saved", too bad the game couldn't..
