weekend challenge not coming up

I don't get to play the weekend challenge... I get the pop up saying there is a weekend special but my games not updated with the new challenges...anyone else have this problem?

    I figured out how to fix it, if you have data saved to the cloud uninstall the app then reinstall it. After the install sign in to your Google account from the app and you should be fine. I did this Sa****ay morning and was able to see the Special Events flashing like normal. Hope this helps.
