  • Came out on Facebook late yesterday here. It all depends on your platform and region when new regions and updates hit. When I played on Android, DH2014 always came two days earlier on the phone than on Facebook.
  • I think Glu should just give me bags of money since I play their free games everyday. And I shop at my grocery store a lot, they should at least give me a free box of cereal a day. You know what's worse? I've been driving this 2004 Tacoma for ten…
  • Reload after your first shot. The reloads aren't o slow when only loading one, but it will always load to capacity. The level is beatable, there's always a way! I personally love the challenging levels, and wish there were more. Heck, I wish the…
  • I only spend gold on one thing, and that's energy when a new region is released. Enjoying this one so far.
  • Yeah, I wasn't even going to bother, but I'm glad i did. It's a nice break from contract hunts on both games.
  • I've been on this kick for a while now. That 5 Deonychus hunt is a beast with a bow!
  • Level 37, a little over 18 million.
  • You can't buy *exotic* weapons with those. But you can buy every weapon needed to play the game and finish each level. Glu has been really good about letting you play these games for free.
  • Not sure, but the game is patterned after Deer Hunter 2014, and that one will have rare hunts and so forth that yield a weapon upon completion (for free). But even if you miss out on the exotic or seasonal hunts, you still get to play and complete …
  • Seriously, you can skip the exotic hunts. They're just a few hunts and then over, anyway. If you want to spend real dollars or watch videos and take surveys that may or may not pay off, by all means go for it, but in the current market, I don't ev…
  • I'm gonna go out on a limb and say never. Although, something like Bigfoot might be in the future!
  • They have that. It's called playing the game. You get every hunt except for the special events for free. For the record, I am a "poor" free player.
  • I think people who are new think they are missing out on everything if they can't play a holiday hunt. It's usually ten hunts not much more interesting than the usual contract hunts, then it's over. The game takes a lot longer when you play free, …
  • How do you flag a post around here? He's up to it again, under your name with an extra a. Also, whoever is running these forums would do well to IP ban him if the forum software permits.
  • RB, try hunting the old regions again. It's not like you are playing for hunter bucks at this point. Also, playing region 4 with just your bow is challenging. You can keep it interesting for a lot longer if you mix it up.
  • My favorite is 4, but only because of several hunts where animals will kill you, and the bow is difficult on those hunts. But for sheer scenery, I agree it's region 2 for sure.
  • I'm at 15 Mil on Dinos and 26 mil on DH2014. Playing a lot more 2014 these days, because there are things to work towards.
  • The game is free. You can pay for weapons that are needed for special hunts, but lots of us play every day for free. You need to complete the trophy hunts to advance to the next level.
  • On Facebook, they don't even log your kills. The same hunt kept repeating after I would complete it.
  • By the way, you don't have to close region 8. Once you get the final map piece (you can tell by the pieces needed for hidden region 3), move on to region 9 if you are in a hurry to unlock the hidden region. You can always go back and play the rare…
  • Interesting name. ^^Is he back already?
  • Honestly, you can play this game without a single bit of gold. There are only 4 levels out just yet, but be patient, more will be added. This is deja vu from when DH2014 was newer: everyone complaining that the free game was too expensive and does…
  • The game is free. It's a new game, so level 4 is as far as it goes at the moment, no matter what you spend. Sure, you can buy things to play other special hunts, but if it's more than you want to spend, just don't play those! It's pretty simple. …
  • Might I ask where you heard this 3-4 week time frame?
  • Pretty sure they just look pretty, like the butterflies and jumping trout in DH2014.
  • Sure you can. I play DH2014 mostly without scopes at all. I would like to second that being able to do this in dinos would be a huge help to those of us without a life! ;)
  • I'm at 11.8. I bet I play the game an hour a day.
  • Hmm, I'm on Facebook, so have no kill count. I do know that in DH2014, extra kills were counted, because they reflected in the bounties...
in kills Comment by blue ridge July 2014
  • I don't think you can make that claim, people have asked about bounties since it was in beta. I have played DH2014 and now Dinos since launch. No, you can't play every exotic or holiday series or have certain weapons (that aren't needed) without …
