Is it me or has Global Not Started 10/8

I have on several occasions had to restart the game to get Global and League events to kick off. However this morning even after several restarts global still hasn't started. Checking to see if anyone can tell me if it has started or not for iOS.

So, last week it was Google Play, today iOS, I guess next week it will be Amazon Store ( I can confirm that event is running now).

Rolling blackouts? Would be nice to get some kind of notification like we used to get.

Rolling Blackouts? Nice ... but this time there's nothing going on or being upgraded that I am aware of ... go figure?
