I've kept meticulous records of Global Events for well over a year and 1,100 Players at the start of ANY Global Event is anemic; in fact it's the lowest player turnout I've witnessed.
Finding myself @ RANK #341 with only 7 PvP Victories nearly 3 hours after the start confirms this.
I would estimate that iOS had about 1/2 that number at the start of the Global and Amazon must have resembled a "ghost town"; there are probably more "bots" or clans than there are active players ...
... sad, truly sad.
A disturbing turn of events, to say the least.
Yeah ... that's the nature of these VIP Events nowadays. Aside from the TOP Weapon @7,000 GOLD (possibly the weapon @ 5,750/3,500), most of what appears in the list is rubbish and it rarely changes.
For you my friend, and don't take this the wrong way, why would you want to spend money (GOLD) on more powerful weapons when you're already having problems upgrading the weapons you have?
I thought you would have learned something from your TESLA experience.
Concentrate on increasing your vault's capacity. :cool:
That's great progress but still you're @ TIER 22 ... so unless you reach TIER 28/29 in the next week or so, you really do not need any stronger weapons because you'll never draw opponents strong enough to warrant the firepower ... it's a waste.
Now if you're drawing opponents color coded "RED" and you have no choice because you cannot find a suitable opponent, that is always a sign of "imbalance" in your game setup; the trap is in thinking you need stronger weapons ... proceed with caution.
You know better how fast you're progressing though, just be careful NOT to perpetuate an already difficult situation.

As expected (consistent with this morning's Global Event launch), I find myself in the TOP 90 with less than 1/2 the scoring total of last week's Global Event (at this juncture).
On the other hand, the leaderboard's TOP 10 scoring is pretty much as it usually is with RANK #30's scoring slightly down; clearly many of the "average" players are "throwing in the towel" and those that remain are scoring less. I can't blame them for that, but it does raise a "specter" regarding this game's future participation; GLU has tried several gamesmanship tactics, but never the obvious.
No specific Global Event Goals, other than continue Drone Development and apply possibly two (2x) "ALPHA-ECHO" upgrades to maximize my vault's capacity.

Yep. I just checked and it changed to the 31.5 CAIN MKII SNIPER @ 7,000 GOLD and the 31.5 CHERUB MKII TESLA @ 5,750 GOLD. I DID think that ODIN MK HEAVY was kind of strange ... then again it could be those hallucinogenic medications. LOL
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the first time I've seen a pair of 31.5s at the top; usually it's a 31.0 in the 5,750 slot isn't it? I also noticed there are 2 x drone traps up there as well.
Maybe GLU has finally come around after months of complaining. :cool:

In a word, "Anemic" ... scoring at 1/2 the rate of last week, I still find myself amongst the TOP 90. That said, the TOP Spot is developing into "match race" between two perennial leaderboard players. Be careful gents, The TERMINAT3R is lurking just out of view and is ALWAYS a threat.

REGARDING CKS GAMEPLAY: I have observed a few interesting developments over the latest few tiers regarding gameplay and gamesmanship. GLU is "backing off" the battle cycle release schedule and has also improved the VIP offerings (not perfect but better) ...
... GLU has also been periodically subsidizing events with FREE GOLD (2x, 3x).
Event participation is down for non-leaderboard players; scoring is down as well.
Leaderboard participation remains unchanged thus far.
I'm doing everything (anything) I can to promote more participation by sharing my experiences and helping to mitigate potential pitfalls for the newer players; I certainly hope that it helps. :cool:
