name duplicate

in Contract Killer: Sniper
i have been attacked by two different players with the same name JOHN
, i know they are different because when i attacked them different defense power( one is 18000 & the other is 46080)(both attacks in same day & i have more tan 6 attacks from both players
is this allowed to have player names duplicated??
my plat form is android (google play)

    One may have used a numeric 0 instead of O. We used numbers sometimes back in the SOCOM days on Playstation.

    that may be the case , the font used in game make numeric 0 & O looks the same , i can not till
