Indestructible foes

Has anyone run into foes that do not lose health. This is ridiculous and can really mess with a win streak not to mention lost energy and diamonds. Glu needs to ban those players and it would help if they actually answered any of the comments that were left for them.

Nothing is indestructible ... that being said, you're not competing against other players at all. You're competing against computer generated "spooks" based on a given player's profile and upgrade status. At times when there are no suitable opponents, you will encounter GLU's idea of an appropriate opponent (usually comes with a max'd out defense).

So while I'll agree that the hacks should be eliminated because they might score unbelievable totals during Global and League Events, you will never actually face them in battle. You may draw a maximum defense, but you'll face those anyway, hacked or not.

So a maxed out defender will let you get to the "player" and all other enemies act normal but when you try to kill them their health bar does not go down at all. I'm not saying that it is harder. I'm saying even though there are 20 critical hits with the assault rifle or with the tesla their health doesn't budge.

I've noticed this more and more in my Tier 7 game matchups. With 11k weapons (primary only), I can easily take out a 13k base. But, I've been up against 4k-5k and higher bases where facing the leader is impossible. Like you say, the health meter might move after 3 continuous minutes of head shots, but barely below 90%. This has occurred since I was starting out at Tier 6, and bought for in-game cash the Brazil weapons that put me out of touch in PVP battles with my base power.

What I've noticed about the easy PVPs are that they are Bots with 200 drone power and low payouts. The impossible to kill base leaders are either level 120 with regular weapons (they must have their high power weapons stashed?), or bases with weapons won from a couple months ago x11 power to x12 power. The latter group are real players with typically low AP (they've shot themselves in the foot crafting these weapons) and they have high payouts dangling you in the face.

These matchups have ruined my progression for this level, and I will be quitting. It's a shame since I put so much time into this game.

Something is CLEARLY, EXTREMELY wrong with your game play ... 3 continuous minutes of head shots? A single TESLA blast to the head and the opponent should be toast !!! Same thing with SHORTS using a HEAVY ... I cannot fathom 3 minutes of continuous headshots.

To take out a TIER 13 JUGG or SENTRY is going to require a 14.5 ASSAULT rifle ... so these classes of weapons are useless in PvP unless you've got the weaponry. I recommend you get a good HEAVY WEAPON. Even when using a 13.5 ASSAULT rifle, a single clip should do it, so we're talking 10-15 seconds ... 3 minutes is absurd.

The weapons also need to be fully upgraded. Using the wrong weapons or using a weapon that hasn't been upgraded, can make it seem like you're using a slingshot.

When I say something is wrong with your game play, I'm not referring to a bug; I'm referring to the way you've got the game setup ... something is out of whack, so to speak.

Post screen shots of all weapons and base defense (from upgrade screen). Your current region and level. Also post your weapons inventory; the problem could be you're not using the best available weapon.

We'll get to the bottom of this once and for all.

Scorpion, I'd wish you'd READ the post, and not come to the wrong theory. I am the guy playing 3 GLU games! Note I said Tier 7, primary only. I have no tesla or heavy here. I'm also using terms like 13k base - not Tier 13 base, this is a tier 8 or 9 (can't remember). Same with weapon power. It's 11 K weapons, not X11 weapons, these are X7 I believe - equal to my base power!

You keep confusing my games, I don't know how to make it more clear? All your coments would be appropriate to my Tier 13 game - but I have no trouble with 150 game pvp win streaks in that game.

Are we clear now? (Have YOU had your coffee?) Now if you had relevant comments to make, I'd appreciate them...

First of all I wasn't referring to you ... I asked the forum poster to provide some screen shots. Secondly 3 minutes is still absurd regardless of what platform you're using. I recommend you use the popular vernacular when describing your experiences.

I can't be bothered with trying to translate your choice of terms ... if you mean TIER 8 then say TIER 8; same goes for weapons ... Jeez ... nobody describes these items the way you are.

And what the hell is an 11K weapon anyways? I still don't know (it appears neither do you) ... You state things x7, x11, 11k am I supposed to know what you're referring to? 7.0, 11.5 is what we know.

And yes ... I'm on my 2nd cup LOL

Effective communication is the responsibility of the one doing the talking not the one doing the listening ...

    Really?

Now you're being silly. The last time I said x7 (the way the weapons are listed in the store), you said that doesn't mean anything to you, you wanted to know the power! I guess you need to remember how these things were rated in your x14.5 super vip world, which is only what matter to you. <GRIN>

In this game, all that I care about is power matchups, it's what shows up for weapon power and base power for matchups, sorry to take you back to your forgoten past in this game.

These enemies are not all the time. I have faced 3-4 of them but it is still absurd that they can do this. Their base level has been 2k-3k so it isn't like they should be tough opponents. I have gone up against 5k-6k opponents and has won. The problem as stated in the original post is that only the "player" can not be touched. All other enemies in the round until then are normal. I also don't have a problem with them killing me so it isn't just a supped up weapon on their part. If I had 30 minutes and unlimited ammo the final person would not go down. That is the problem that I am bringing up.

Like I mentioned above, check your battle log, and click on an opponent that you can easily win, and one that is indestructable. I think you will find the same as what I found.

The easy ones are Bots, and won't have any detail when you click on them in the battle log. They will have weapons that where equivalent to their base power, usually low or no drones, and low payouts.

The "indestructable" ones are actual players that either have much higher levels (in your case, over 40), and/or much higher weapons than their base power would typically allow - the 2k-3k you mentioned. Somehow, these probably won in global weapons give low power players an invisible shield they should not have!

The side effect for them is they can't attack the people they are matched up against with these high power weapons, because someone is matched based on their weapon power. So they typically have low VP scores yet high payout values because no one else can defeat them that would be matched like you are to their base level.

Where are the screen shots ... nobody (including GLU) can help you until we know exactly what we're dealing with.

QUICKLY: the so called player is a spook, a ghost, a phantom. His resilience is based upon the player health component. When we refer to bases we refer to them initially as TIERs, such as TIER 9, if we need to dig deeper, such as upgrade progress, then as you refer to as 3k-4k might be used, but that alone does nothing to tell me what you've upgraded and certainly tells me nothing about your opponent. For example, it could mean you've max'd out BASE ECONOMY, on the other hand it might mean 40% GUARD and SENTRY upgraded ... using that term is ambiguous at best and specifying ranges is meaningless; I need screen shots

Without screen shots, I might guess as to what you're describing, but that won't solve anything so get me those screen shots.

One other question ... are you winning at all? If so how often?

I usually do win unless either I mess up myself or choose a bad opponent. How do I add a screenshot. I am working on an iPhone?

Thanks, Viagra for reviving this thread, I've made big headway with this game, but the problem still exist.

I bought the Tier 8 tesla (22.46k for Scorpion's understanding) after playing the campaign for it (625 gold), and while it's helped my win streak go from 50/50 to over 7 to 1 wins, I still meet up with equivalent bases (me 17k, them 14-24k) and beat them easily - if they are bots or "regular" players, the players I can't beat at 6k-13k either long (30 shots with charged tesla) or about 20 full clips from my 14k assault have no or very little impact on the final target.

I'll reiterate - these guys typically either have a very high level - like 120-130, or have weapons from x9 and higher won during global. Also ~8k drones (easy to take down), and very high payouts - which means other guys in my rating can't take them out either.

If only I could get the bots all the time, but with a low vault size, this gets expensive quickly. Any constructive help would be appreciated!
