Can anyone get into the game?

I have been getting messages all afternoon that the server is down for maintenance. Is the server down, or am I having a connectivity issue?

    Android server is down, probably for update.

    What platform are you on? The Amazon server is down, but I thought that the Android server was not running.

    Bradr752, I downloaded the Amazon Update 8 hours ago. Yes it's not a Kindle, but Kindle can download Google apps, just as my Android device can download Amazon apps.

    Saying Android is ambiguous. Both Kindle and "Google" devices are Android devices whether from Nexus, Samsung, or a host of other manufacturers.
