03/17 HEAVY GLOBAL (How Are We Doing?)

This 2nd TIER 21 Global Event features a pair of HEAVY WEAPONS to add to your weapons locker. Both HEAVIES are packing a "heavy" punch, with the HARUSPEX rated at twice the power of the 20.5 ORC of last month's fame.
TOP 10: 21.5 POT OF GOLD MKII HEAVY - 235.93M-361.23M (Optics)
TOP 30: 21.5 HARUSPEX HEAVY - 196.61M-321.91M (Optics)
I suspect that another similar event may be coming this cycle since the craft repository is saturated with 21.5 HEAVY WEAPONS (clones, gatlings, chain drives galore).
There is also a "bargain basement" sale item in The Store (for those who've reached TIER19/20):

The prize is for a 460K 12.5x Heavy. But, I already have 3 at the same power! Talking about GLU GLUT!
And Tier 13 is not due for another 5 days, so all weapons are maxed out (I'm ignoring the short side weapons until GLU returns the defense power to normal), and my drone has received 15 full vaults.
So back to CKS, just when I was enjoying mostly long attacks in short order, time to throw another heavy into the mix.
Seems like the heavy glut that plagues CKS has reached MIRN as well. The one saving grace about MIRN is the change of scenery. I was showing my nephew some battle tactics and really took a liking to MIRN's graphics.
Other than that, it's the same **** ... different day (game)

Holy Cow !!! The Elites need to have periodic moratoriums so that the peons have a chance at a TOP 30 weapon
So winning on iOS is simpler said than done ... Beat The Elites, and you'll have a shot LOL Now I know why CONCERNED rarely goes for the TOP 30

Particularly interesting to me are the 5 Elites on the Leaderboard who have maxxed out Drones. They all have maxxed out Tier 21 Bases, maxxed out 21.5 and 22.5 Primary and Secondary Weapons, as well as maxxed out 47.19M Drone weapons. In short, they have nothing left to spend Diamonds on, yet they are still working their way to the top of the Leaderboard. Very dedicated players, for sure!
BTW, I am going to try to get to 48.1M myself next Global. I would love the have that out of the way when the next Tier is released. I have seven Levels left.
Way to go Bro ... it would definitely take the edge off. I'm curious to find out if a MAX DRONE truly makes a difference on the battle field and can take a shot from a weapon or grenade. I look at these drone numbers like power and health and find it impossible to reconcile that with the diamond costs required.
But as we have always asked, "What else are you going to spend all those diamonds on?" At least NOW we have an answer ...

I have permanently retired the 20.5 ORC after only 4 weeks of service. The 21.5 HARUSPEX is a stronger weapon @ 0% (right out of the box) than the ORC was @ 100%
There are a few items of note this morning:
(1) GOLD LEAGUE featured weapon is the 21.5 ABHIRATI HEAVY (an iron sighted, anti-aircraft canon).
If GLU remains true to form, this could indicate that this weapon (or it's clone) will be featured in an upcoming Global Event (this week or next).
(2) The TIER 21 Battle Cycle has already featured a 21.5 SNIPER and 21.5 HEAVY thus far. If yet another HEAVY is on it's way, then either the ASSAULT or TESLA will be omitted from the Global rotation, unless GLU extends it to 5 weeks.
(3) There is an impromptu 48 Hour VIP Event in progress featuring another 21.5 SNIPER, the RUPPELL (CORSAC clone). So if you couldn't craft this TOP 30 weapon from parts, you can now acquire it a week later for 3,500 GOLD ... huh? There is also an excellent chance there is a 22.5 TESLA sitting atop the Super VIP ... any takers?
Since the GOLD LEAGUE bracket is saturated with All-Time Leaderboard achievers (many Ruskies), I have no choice but to use these fine warriors for extended target practice ... sorry TRY_AGAIN ...
... quiet as it's kept, I'm gonna love every minute of it.
