Good Morning and welcome to Round #2 of the TIER 23 Battle Cycle.
Today's event features the following "Lightning Guns":
TOP 10: 23.5 SIONA MKII TESLA - 943.72M-1.26B (Last week's VIP EMMELIA MKII Clone).
TOP 30: 23.5 HYLES MKII TESLA - 786.43M-1.1B (Please refer to the SPECIAL NOTE).
There is no VIP Event scheduled for today.
The Store has a HEAVY WEAPON on sale; essentially a TIER 22 weapon it could navigate TIER 23 provided you upgrade the weapon to 100% in short order.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Similar to what happened during the Silver League (just concluded) on Google Play when the TOP 10 weapon (also a TESLA) had failed to download the weapon's images to "The Store".
Today's TOP 30 weapon exhibits the same "symptoms" and while it won't prevent you from acquiring the weapon, all of a weapon's information (including images) must download prior to being able to equip and use the weapon.
GLU is getting rather "sloppy" since for 2 weeks running they can't seem to locate the correct images.

Support Drone is now @ 48.1M and I'm within striking distance of a TOP 30 finish.
The SCORPION is just about done with this Global Event however; my top priority is now to acquire the remaining 3 x 47.19M drone weapons parts.

I am just looking to do some weapons upgrades and raise a few Drone parts.
Current setup:
Base 754.97M (100% complete)
Drone 188.87M (Level 210)
Drone weapons: All 47.19M, offensive weapons (MG & RL) upgraded to Level 10, 89.26M; Defensives (HR & SG) 47.19M upgraded to Level 8 (77.17M.)
No Drone parts to fuse.
Weapons:
Sniper: Ranger MK II, 24.0, 15% upgraded, 889.19M
Assault: Cobra MK!!, 24.5, 35% upgraded, 1.4B
Tesla: Emmelia MKII, 24.5, 70% upgraded, 1.13B
Heavy: Scythe MKII, 24.5, 70% upgraded, 2.15B (Interesting Glu Glitch: When the Scythe is upgraded to Level 5, the ratings disappear completed, no rating is displayed)
I see all of your weapons near OR above 1GB ... what kind of vaults are you raiding? I figured that the cutoff is around 754.97M.
How is that HEAVY @ 2.15GB? WoW I'm going to go out on a limb and state that CKS has a technical limit of 2.15GB (not the first anomaly to occur at that threshold)
DEFINITELY DO NOT take anything past 2.15B because, if I'm correct about the technical design limitation, you will not be able to see any benefit anyways. This is a software breakdown and one that cannot be easily remedied.
That's my man Sir Brad ... for only YOU can push the game limits to the max (breaking point).

I am only doing 1.7M vaults and above, highest so far is 1.88M, average 1.73M.
The upgraded Scythe is very strong, PVPs are running 20 to 33 seconds, but it was more than enough gun right out of the box. I am only upgrading because I have nothing else to upgrade. I am really playing for Drone parts these days, not Diamonds.
BTW, it seems to me that Glu is giving fewer Drone parts in PVP play. It takes longer and longer to get enough to upgrade Drone weaps.

I really haven't noticed any decrease in weapons parts awards, but then again I can only estimate.
Using my last three drone power jumps, these were my parts total:
7,944 (05/12)
8,057 (05/13)
8,158 (05/14)
Now, I am pretty consistent with regards to the battles I select to fight and the relative number of XP fuses for a power jump has been around 50 using TIER 21 fuses. For every 50 fuses I burn, I collect roughly 100 parts during the process. I also burn 4.1M parts as soon as I get them, usually during the power jumps.
This has been pretty much the case for awhile now, but I will keep a closer track of these if necessary.
It really amazes me how using statistics keeps me within a plan without deviation. It also helps me to notice aberrations when they occur.
Go with your gut ... your instincts are usually spot on.
I've also run some rough calculations regarding the 2.15B weapons "glitch" for the 24.5s.
Nobody knows what GLU has planned for sure, but if they don't fix it soon, TIER 24 may be the absolute end since we won't be able to upgrade to the 25.5 weapons that will be available in a couple of weeks.
Have you reported this to them?
There was a fierce battle taking place with just over 30 minutes remaining. I had no interest in fighting, however; all I wanted to do was hit the sack :cool:

Yeah ... true to GLU form I guess. I know you've reported this, as well as the 24.5 / 2.15B ratings glitch and I assume you haven't received any response from them as yet.
This is definitely a troubling set of circumstances and may prove to be the final straw.
Ending League Events after only 12 hours is a mixed blessing for many, but it does make it difficult to achieve the milestones without spending GOLD, which sort of defeats the purpose.
Ahhh ... The GLU Factory ... squeezing that rock (ridiculous) to the very end

So SIR BRAD, your observation is spot on because the number of drone weapons parts awarded via PvP has dropped by 50% since I reached Level 191-192; about 2 Days ago ...

Thank you for your continued diligence, since I've been doing only support drone fuses, this might have avoided the "SCORPION RADAR" until I started upgrading weapons again.
