On iOS since the Massive Update the unbearable Fram Lag is back. Anyone else experiencing?.

    This has been an ongoing problem with Apple devices for as long as I can remember, but players have worked out methods of getting around it. The game itself may or may not have a part in your problems; it's more likely the device (or what's on it) that causing the problem.

    Many have restored performance by BACKUP ... REINSTALL ... RESTORE procedures. Others have simply gone out and purchased better devices.

    The forum is strewn with these complaints and solutions. Perform a search on CONCERNED and BRADR752 since they're the resident experts on iOS (well as close as Apple will let them anyways). I'm sure you'll find a solution.
