Good Morning and Welcome to the 4th and Final Global Event of the TIER 24 Battle Cycle. :cool:
TIER 25 is just around the corner and with Global competition expected to be relatively light, now is the time to get it done and prepare for the next war.
Today's event features a pair of powerful "peashooters".
TOP 10: 24.5 SCOUT MKII SNIPER - 1.26B-1.93B.
TOP 30: 24.5 EQUALIZER MKII SNIPER - 1.05B-1.72B.
There is no VIP Event scheduled.
The Store has nothing on sale at the start of this Global Event.

Not quite sure what to make of the TOP 5-6 since they appear to be scoring higher than expected; the remaining players on the leaderboard are scoring within "normal" parameters (for a TESLA/HEAVY).

This Global Event itself is just about a wrap for me. The only other "open items" that remain are upgrading my 25.0 LONGSHOT SNIPER and maintaining a FULL VAULT in preparation for TIER 25.

The TOP 2 have been going at it from the very beginning; I'm not sure what the motivation is, but I do know The TERMINAT3R really hates to lose. At a rate of roughly 40 Victories per hour, these two can join GRANDPAA (from last week) as honorary members to the late "Lunatic Asylum".

This is a perfect example of what I've affectionately termed "The Invincibility Effect".
This player in currently RANKED #29 with just over 8,400 AP, has no TESLA, HEAVY or DRONE to speak of. His base is at TIER 15 "OSCAR".
He is using only primary weapons rated @ 18.0 which he probably purchased as sale items in The Store.
What gives him his success is the fact that his player health is at Level 200 and the opponents he draws cannot kill him ...
... The Invincibility Effect is in full play and he's shooting up the place essentially for FREE.
Still think you need to spend BILLIONS of diamonds to be successful? Think again :cool:
This player has made a decision that will drastically change his success in PvP however ...
... he's about to acquire a 24.5 SNIPER; an acquisition that will spell disaster for his LR battles.
There is an out for him though ... call it quits for this Global; settle for the 35 Parts and NEVER craft the weapon ... his invincibility will be preserved. The "downside" here is extreme boredom; nothing new.

Last week it was GRANDPAA scoring 103,412 AP (most likely a "hack") setting a record; this time IAPANDROID scores 107,584 AP to set yet another record (no anomalies detected).
Both events witnessed RA418 and TERMINIAT3R as runners up, rounding out the TOP 3.
All other scores were within average (normal) parameters.
Today's impromptu VIP Event features the 24.5 WARDEN MKII SNIPER - 1.43B-2.1B - @3,500 GOLD.
There are no indications as yet that TIER 25 has arrived ... stay tuned :cool:
