This Global Event is featuring a pair of (my personal favorite) ASSAULT Weapons.

... you would have a complete set of "state of the art" weapons. The problem is it would cost you 14,000 GOLD, have an effective lifetime of 6-weeks and would become obsolete with regards to payouts in about 3-weeks ... to add insult to injury, you would then be saddled with 700 Full Energy and rendered helpless to incrementally upgrade your weapons when the need arises (in practical and sensible terms).
The irony here is that a player would also be collecting Global Event weapons that are just as effective.
That's one helluva price to pay for "bragging rights".
