Good Morning and Welcome to Round #3 of the TIER 37 Battle Cycle, which also happens to be our third Global Invasion Event and second such of this Battle Cycle.

Nothing is more anticlimactic than a Global Invasion Event, that falls on a "lame duck" weekend and the Top Prize is a "peashooter" ...
... but at least these players get the chance to stretch their legs and get a taste of competition.
The only bright spot on an otherwise distracting exhibition of accusations, bannings, innuendo, rumors, and "weed wackers" is BSONI's (WARRIOR202) assault on the #1 Ranking of All-Time.

Scoring has picked up a bit over the last 12 Hours exceeding all that was registered on DAY #1.
I'm projecting 150,000-160,000 AP scoring totals for this event.

I am sorry you had to start from scratch, but it's not so bad when you think about it ...
... You've gotten rid of all the junk we've been accumulating, you can REALLY decide if you want to develop a drone, deploy MDUs or even upgrade the base ... it's all wide open.
You know all of the pitfalls and hopefully, you won't make the same mistakes we all made ... again.
If I had it all to do over again, I would maximize my health, buy the strongest guns allowable by law; then I would proceed to mthodically shoot the place to pieces ... they can keep the rest, but that's me.

Scorpion, since Android and iOS have similar competition, what do you gauge is the amount of AP and gold/event coins needed to win an invasion global and league event? Normal global and league? Thanks for taking these questions into consideration!

Hey it's been awhile ...
We've only experienced 3 x Global Invasion Events thus far, so statistics are obviously limited ...
... this is what we have though:
Global Invasion Event AP: 100,000 AP - 200,000 AP (1st Event was for a 40.5 TESLA). I would estimate that the top RANK burned through at least 3,000 Event Tokens ...
... To make the TOP 50 should cost roughly 1,000 Event Tokens.
Regarding Event Tokens usage ... this can vary from player to player based on how fast he progresses each day and how many tokens he "reacquires" when spinning using the robotokens he's won along the way. Standard AP derived from PvP also counts to some varying degree.
League Events are no picnic either and depending on which bracket (group) in which you find yourself, the competition can be even greater; typically you'll need to win at least one league event to have any chance at all of crafting a weapon ...
... this will NOT be easy and will require a huge investment in time.
I no longer look at these types of events as a vehicle to be used for acquiring weapons since only the TOP 3 will win a weapon outright and only a handful of players will win enough parts to craft one ...
... these are strictly for the "fun of competing" (if you're into that sort of thing).
Acquiring a weapon from the "standard" (non-Invasion) Events are a huge disappointment since you really have only two options:
(1) TOP 10 Finish (tough)
(2) League Events (tougher still).
The problem with non-Invasion League Events is the number of parts you can acquire from them ...
... in short it's nearly impossible to craft a weapon in the league events going into the event with a maximum of 20 Parts.
This is NOT a favorable (winning) position to be in from the start for ANY player; there is "no joy".
The chances of crafting weapons from non-invasion events are slim but better than invasion events;
from a probability standpoint though, the odds are less than reasonable and totally unacceptable ...
... to me anyways. :cool:
It's far cheaper to "buy" a weapon, unless you have nothing else better to do with your free time ...
... and you'll need plenty of gameplay time to avoid any expense at all; it is possible though.
