Good luck to you man. That's some screwed up sh!t!!! I know they have cheat hacks for this game that work especially if your device is jailbroken. But never heard of any hack as to being able to steal other peoples gold. If I was you I'd hammer customer care until I got my gold back. It'll take a while but you'll get it.

Did you sync your old phone with iTunes then download all your apps to iTunes then sync your new phone and upload all your old apps? If you did try the same thing with iCloud? I did it with iCloud and was able to retain all my progress. Pm if you have any questions.

It based off of the total amount of diamonds you have inside your vault and the ones stored in the top right corner of your screen. Keep playing you'll get lucky and hit someone up for 8 or 9 thousand in PvP matches.
