  • I've read that it worked that way in the initial release, but Glu found that people weren't playing as often as they wanted, so they opened the vault up to raiding so that people would stay in the game longer to protect their diamonds. However, they didn't change the tips message.
  • My recommendation would depend on how you're doing in battles. If you're doing OK, then I'd say upgrade your base; weapons come and go, but improving your base is an investment that will pay off for as long as you're playing the game. However, if you aren't winning battles, then I'd spend resources on the gun, because…
  • From what I've been reading in the "Sand Baggers" thread, it sounds like Silver and Bronze leagues are both competing for the same Garmr parts this week; historically, Bronze competed for Leviathan drones, and one of the folks in my clan said he could still get leviathans if he finished outside of the top. As far as I…
  • You must be in the Google or IOS pool. I'm in Amazon and finished in the top 30 with around 4300 APs this tournament. Sniper/Assault rifle tournaments never have as much action as Tesla/Heavy gun weeks and the new PvP assignment algorithm broke play for a lot of players who'd won higher powered weapons than their level…
  • They act on your player, healing some damage and creating an energy shield around you. Unfortunately, at low levels, you probably won't notice any difference except that a red stream is sent to your character every so often (healing) and a blue stream encases you briefly in a shimmering blue shell (shield) during battles…
  • Most of the time I still choose generated opponents; their payout is almost always better because most real players are spending their diamonds quickly on drone upgrades. Yes, generated players display "Player Info Unavailable", but I'm not sure should affect revenge, because those matches are only available after someone…
  • As of the version 3 update, they moved the "social" button to your home screen, upper left, just below the settings button -- it looks a bit like two people. That's where your battle log and all-time leaderboards (individual and clans) are. Also, you can tap a clan name in the lists to see their members list, and…
  • Nope, I'm a back-end Web programmer (I've done Java servlets, but currently write Python language/Django framework apps) and have only learned enough about IOS/Android programming to know that you need to specialize in those platforms much more than I did (or wanted to) in order to be effective.
  • You'll have to upgrade the drone body to a high enough level to mount them.
  • Upgrading a drone gun or ray (mounted component) locks up my Kindle Fire HDX (and is being reported to lock up other platforms) likely because all of the individual components we've won can't be rendered. Level 1 components should "stack" like the version 2 drones drones and parts do when upgrading the drone body. Even the…
  • I can upgrade the drone body OK, but I think you're talking about upgrading a gun or ray (mounted component). Yeah, that locks up my Kindle Fire HDX because it can't render all of the individual components I've won. Level 1 components should "stack" like the version 2 drones and drone parts do when upgrading the drone…
  • Hey, I'm #9 on the all time leaderboard, and I post -- it's the Amazon group's leaderboard, but that still ought to mean something.
  • It'll take a lot of resources to upgrade your drones, but they'll be a major force when upgraded to a high power and outfitted with comparable weapon/ray "pods". I believe those players without any drones are almost all dummy characters that glu created to have enough targets at specific defense powers to make the new PvP…
  • I'll update this with what I've discovered in the past couple days about how Clans work. The primary expectation of a clan member is that they fight PvP matches. As an individual, you gain Victory and Assassin points by fighting PvP battles, and it appears that the points each Clan member gains are also gained by the Clan.…
  • I'm with COMEGETSOME -- we're not all heavy hitters, but we have a few and could use another; we're currently 3rd on the clan event leaderboard.
  • Thus far, cash can only be used to upgrade sniper/assault rifles. High level ones take millions in cash to fully upgrade.
  • I was going to suggest that you simply drop the gun/rocket modules from your drone. However, while you can swap modules, it doesn't appear that you can simply remove one once a module of that type has been mounted on your drone. You may want to request that option be added.
  • They appear to have based the crafted drone points on the value of modules to create them. A Manta needed one power module (4 points) and one missile module (8 points), but a Bee needed two power modules and one gatling module (8 points), so it has a value of 16.
  • I posted this in the wrong thread yesterday: NOTE to admins. I'm on the Amazon (Kindle HDX) version 3, and noticed that when I click into another player's profile, their weapons and base info is displayed, but the support drone info is always the same (and identical to my drone), so I think that's a bug. **** Also, I lost…
  • They're still considering "The Unchosen" to be new.

  • I think that my post about how to upgrade drones in the "New Drones" thread may be helpful to you.
  • Really, no replies?? I see that several folks have viewed the thread. People are creating Clans and I've received a couple invitations, so why can't anybody can tell me what the duty of being a clan member is?
  • That pre-upgrade first level B10 upgrade cost has increased from 53 gold to 315; 4th level upgrades are now 585 gold, but the diamond upgrade prices are the same. I'm glad that I got a couple in before the upgrade, and I wish I'd bought some gold to max out before the change, but I'll deal with it. I think I'm only be…
  • On the "Support Drone" screen, the right side has 4 hexagonal '+' icons. Clicking one of them (or the "Fuse" button) will allow you to add up to 4 drones or drone parts carried over from CK:S version 2. Once you've added up to 4 drones/parts, you can click that screen's "Fuse" button, which takes you back to the "Support…
  • After trying your instructions, I was still getting the "Server maintenance is being held. Please, try again later" message. I shutdown my Kindle Fire HDX 7, then tried again, and then it worked. I got a couple out of disk space messages while the game was starting up, but knew that I had plenty of space so just kept…
  • It's 53 gold for each of the first level B10 upgrades, or at least it was before the current version update -- I haven't see what that does to play/prices yet. Regardless, that's quite low compared to the 300 gold they wanted for the base B9 to B10 upgrade, which cost less in diamonds than all the first level B10 upgrades…
  • Pretty much. It's almost impossible to play this game for any period of time without being involved with PvP, as a raider, a target, or both. Glu designed the framework to propagate competition and conflict, so unless you either embrace it or quit, you'll be very frustrated.
  • If you upgrade high-level sniper/assault rifles, that'll deplete your cash reserves in a hurry.
  • I don't know if the drone are always missing, but I have experienced the same behavior where the matchup says there'll be a drone , but it's not there when my opponent's base is level 10.
