Yes, there is another base upgrade. I didn't check first because I haven't yet finished my base 5. But funnily, the upgrades for base 5 are 2'000 diamonds less than before. That's nice :) Whether 50 is top level I don't know. I was still at level 40…

It works for me..of course it still crashes and you lose energy, but you don't lose your streak. Except if you close your app completely, then of course it starts from 1,3,5...

Switch to another app, wait for about 5 minutes, then switch back. The game will load again, you lost the energy, but not your streak - you're back at 25AP.

Well it can't be the same amout. Imagine someone steals you 3000 diamonds and afterwards upgrades his base - he is on zero diamonds. When you revenge now, how can you get 3000 diamonds when he doesn't have any? ;-)
