Not performing acts when clicked

I've experienced this mostly in Taco Train. I will attempt to complete a food item and it simply doesn't work .
EXAMPLE: Chopped cheese will not place on the stove for cheese dip.
Chicken will not go into processor for nachos.... ect. ect.
Instead I'm left holding the item unless I throw it away. It's really screwing up my game.
