Trial of Style competitions are unbalanced

When I was level 60 or so the Trial of Styles were all with people around my level. It was really fun and I had no issue paying a bit to win. After I hit level 70, I'm suddenly in competition with people over level 200. It's super not fun and I won't spend any money anymore. Nowadays I just log in and play the videos for my free gold and that's it.

I play a lot of games on my iPad and the competitions are generally with people around the same level so I'm not sure why Glu doesn't do this.
