Advantages of upgrading decor!

Does upgrading decor help us in achieving 5 stars at all? I don't want to waste my gold bars if there's no benefit to it.

I have found it does not. From what I can tell decor helps with customer patients but does not earn you any more coins. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, if it increases their patience, they'll be more likely to leave more coins, right? I've found that it helps a bit. I'll do it as a last resort if I can't get that fifth star no matter what.

With the recent version, it's possible for tips to increase too, up to 28%

The 4 types of decor now gives us either patience boost (up to 225%, which is equal to the highest sum obtained in previous versions), max tip given (28%), level time (+15s), speed increased (15%) and customers added (up to 3, which makes me question the use of Happy Hour which at present doesn't give extra time and customer anymore, now it only gives us extra prep dish characters)

yes I needed the extra time to get 5* l10 cutie cakes, nothing else worked!

I bit the bullet and went ahead and purchased them! It does seem to help a bit!
