They are special shows for a certain venue. Usually they can carry over appliance upgrades. As for these two special shows, Eats for Earth is a decent venue and you only have to focus on upgrading food, provided that you have gotten a decent amount of upgrades on appliances. Party fowl is straight up terrible, its the most boring venue I have played, the oven and its upgrades just ruin it for me as it costs 17 gold to get it to level 3.
