Pet Issues with Tokyo Akedo

in Cooking Dash 2016 - Bugs and Issues
I'm on season 1 episode 8 and I continue to get the message that the pet will help with my vip customers but the dog just stands there. I am also not allowed to help the customers myself with or without the pet being there. I have restarted the game several times to no avail. Any suggestions?

    I have this problem too in season 1 episode 8
