Sandwich series Achievements not working

I’ve played in both sandwich series trial of style and placed 2nd for both. After the first one, the achievements (place in top 3, top 5 etc) reflected this, showing as 1/2. However after playing in the second one (and coming second) this didn’t give me the reward and the achievements have now expired.
I have spent quite a lot of money on gold which I used on the trials of style, so this is super frustrating! I’ve contacted customer services, but given the prizes are “sandwich wheels” which expire in 3 days, and customer services track record is quite slow, I’m worried I won’t hear back in time to get any of the rewards and it’ll be a complete waste.
Has as anyone else experienced this / solved it...!
