Daily gold for videos fewer than before?

Is it just me? I used to get about 8 videos each day and would get a gold for watching each.  Now it seems to be 5-6 at most, and oftentimes the screen just freezes and won’t even respond when I hit “video offer” (and then later in the day says “no more videos” when I’ve only had a few so far that day). As it is, it’s not a lot of gold and it takes me days to get enough for many of the upgrades I want, and that makes progress go so slowly . . .
