Getting rid of "new" notifications

in Cooking Dash 2016 - Bugs and Issues
Has anyone figured out how to clear spurious notifications yet?  Mine constantly says there are 6 new News items no matter how many times I go in there or tap the things that are there.

    Same issue! Sometimes I can go back through them and get rid of one or two but they come back and slowly accumulate more ugh

    Well, there's some glitch where I can't earn any gold right now *but* my six spurious notifications all went away so I got that going for me!
