Tapjoy is gone for me too, though mine hasn't worked in ages (I ran into a bug that gave me free gold once - not a deliberate act on my part, it just started giving me free gold every time I minimized the app - and apparently my account got flagged after that).
Noticed the latest batch of Serve 'Em Up goals has no gold offers either, not that six gold was a lot, but it was more than zero. Sigh.
Also when you start a new venue you had a rare offer to buy with gold with a discount. That is gone too. And the special task where you can get coins, supplies or gold are only supplies and coins now
My suggestion If they lost sponsors. Change the amount of gold we will need to get improvements. Instead of so many gold make it coins and less golds. So we still have a challenge but not impossible. Do you agree?
