How advance from Region 1 to Region 2?

I've completed all the hunts in Region 1, but can't get to Region 2. Map says "scroll" but nothing I do on my MacBook Pro touchpad or keyboard has any effect. What's the deal?

wish I could help but no clue..a buddy of mine is stuck on region three and has been for weeks and he has done every hunt a zillion times

You have to press down the pad while you scroll, like if you were right-clicking, move it to the right.
