I was wondering wether upgrading the zoom for shotguns actually makes a difference in the accuracy, or if it's just a thing for convenience.
After upgrading my shotgun zoom that was required in order to proceed, I went back to open sights. It doesn't seem to make any difference in accuracy and it is easier to see what you're shooting at.
Personally I have found that using a low powered scope works better for me---as for as accuracy it doesn't seem to improve with a higher powered scope--- I went back to open sights for all the weapons I currently use
I'm getting old my eyesight needs all the help it can get! Trouble with scopes you lose field of view so open sights much better for picking up next target compared to scope I have noticed with bows the black around the circle sight picture slightly opaque allowing you to see prey before they appear in scope which is useful

Very true, however I still like open sights--just old school approach
