Lost Temple Trophy Hunts

I completed the first trophy hunt and the upgrades to complete the next hunt are extreme. Any idea on what the total platinum coin cost is? I am assuming that the only way to get additional coins is the rare hunts?

I am using deer hunter for android.

There is a thread in n the forum called Grantham Tracker that describes the upgrade costs for both the bow and crossbow.
You will need to fully upgrade both weapons yo complete the Lost Temple.
You are correct that rare hunts are key to getting the platinum to buy upgrades.
Contract hunts are key to shortening the time between rare hunts. Each contract hunt takes 8 hours off the time till the next rare hunt.
