Old I Pad fixes for DH2014

HELP !!! I have an older I pad, and love this game, but I can't seem to get to the hunts on Mt. St. Helen's ? Any fixes other than buying a new I pad, laid up w/ fractured left foot, and need game to keep from getting boarded out my skull !
