Bounties not recording for ducks and assault rifles

Simply put, I used the region 10 grantham to kill 37 ducks to reach my next level bounty, but it didn't register any of the kills. Is it maybe the Region 10 grantham?

    It isn't the gun. Only the ducks in regions 1 and 6 count.
