Although danang would make an excellent hidden region with temple ruins!

Why are there tigers in Dayong which looks to be a region in China subsequently renamed Zhangjiajie and is a nature preserve area? That makes as much sense as the jungle leopards in the last hidden snow region. Or is there another Dayong?

It is a game. You are putting way to much thought into the names.

You have to admit it is weird to see a leopard (and not a snow leopard) when hunting in the snow and ice.

Well they obviously meant it to be this area in China so they should have used the area's fauna. Otherwise don't pretend it is semi realistic and instead make up a fake place like DingDuckDong or DaySoLong instead of DayOng. Chinese apparently copy everything... Even Bengal tigers. Where is the international patent enforcement office when you need them?

I think it's cool for glu to try to emulate a real place and have the ability to insert any animals they so choose, it is a game afterall :)

Because there ARE tigers in China. Most are in preserves now. However, very rarely, one does still get spotted.

I guess there was a south China tiger... Who knew? But they are considered extinct in the wild with the last one spotted 40-50 years ago according to wiki. OK.. So I say put them in but keep it realistic and we shoot them in cages since there are none left except in zoos and who really knows since the Chinese recently were caught with a freaking dog listed as a lion in one zoo so my guess any tiger in a zoo in China is probably a starving Bengal tiger or a fat orange tabby house cat with black painted stripes. I would rather shoot a panda than a fake Chinese tiger anyways but you know they would never get them upset by letting us shoot pandas in the game.

Region 11 will probably be out by Thursday or Friday. New events or new regions are always about a week after the announcement.

I've never been to Zhangjiajie, but I have been to Yangshou, which has similar terrain. Very pretty area and not like anything else I have ever seen. I would suppose that northern Vietnam looks like that too, but I have only been to Hanoi and HCM City (formally Saigon).

If we look at the Chinese Zodiac, I wonder what animals are involved.

    Rat - no
    Ox - probably
    Tiger - yes
    Rabbit - I'd say no
Dragon - wow, would be cool
    Snake - probably a no
    Horse - possible
    Goat - I'd say a yes
    Monkey - probably no
    Rooster - No
    Dog - probably yes
    Pig - probably yes

Which means Tiger and Bears are the predators. There are bears in China. I want to see a dragon.

Other than Pandas. Pandas would be strictly off limits and in very poor taste to the largest gaming community in the world.

Plenty of tigers in China. Only trouble is they tend to be ground up in little jars next to the powdered rhino horn...
