Assault Rifle vs Gold Rifle

With the assault rifle at $6M for region 15, I am debating whether it is worth it. On my iPhone (secondary device) which is always funds limited, I used my gold rifle from the previous region with the base scope and it worked just fine. On my iPad, where funds are not a problem, I still wonder why I need an AR. With the club hunts on iOS now gone, I really don't seem to need an AR any more.

I still like using the AR. I skipped the R14 AR, so I decided to go ahead and get the Valve since the Scale is the last one I got. The R15 AR looks great and performs great too. I may skip the shotgun this region though, the Rohman Pinscher performs just fine.
