Do you get to keep the Region 3 gun- (Assault Riffle- Hauer Raven) in Region 4??
It's fun to play with an AR, in addition to a riffle and a shot gun. This Region 3 AR cost gold, so I don't want to complete Region 3 yet before knowing if I will be able to use it in the next region.

Once you buy a weapon you get to keep it forever. Problem is that it will be underpowered for hunts in Region 4 so if you use it you will need multiple hits to kill an animal unless you get a heart shot or maybe a lung shot will do it. The other option would be to use a hollow point upgrade which gives you double damage for one hunt only.

I just realized that you asked about Deer Hunter 2016. Since this is the Deer Hunter 2014 forum I was talking about Deer Hunter 2014. Things are different in Deer Hunter 2016 I think but I do not play that piece of garbage so you should ask in the Deer Hunter 2016 forum. Sorry about the mix up.

Sorry, I didn't see a Deer Hunter 2016 forum. Turns out that when you get to Region 4, a New Weapon is Required for the AR Contract.

One of the differences between the two games is in DH2016, if you need a new weapon to buy it will show it red instead of green. They show yellow if you can use it but to the mandatory and not effective or in other words recommended. When yellow, they recommend an upgrade.
No colors are used in DH2014. Only the rifle is mandatory per region, since you have to use it on the trophy hunts to advance to next region. In 2014 version, you can hunt with less effective regional AR or shotgun and it isn't a mandatory buy. Plus you get to use Consummables if you want, a non 2016 Deer Hunter thing.
In the 2016 version, you always have to buy the AR and rifle weapon, just like the rifle in 2014 version. The shotgun is only a recommend, but you won't get far if you don't buy the regions gun.
In the forum, go to Glu Community, games forum in the bar at the top. It will show you all Glu game forums. There is a lot from Kardashian games to baseball, to sniper games etc. it will allow you to participate in any Glu game forum if you are set up with an account like you already have, even if you don't have the game.
