Region 4 Bird Missions

Is anyone able to complete bird Missions? They either never appear on screen or are way off where you can't aim to.
I'm almost ready to give up on this region. Too many missions start with the animals towards the edge where they can run away as soon as you start shooting, or you have to waste too much time finding animals. Sometimes Region 3 too
