Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

So I'm racing the zr1 event but as poor as I am I only have 1. Why can I not change lobbies to race other players. I made 9 new friends because we were stuck with each other but that's not what this game is about. I have lost a lot of points because when you beat someone so many times there are no points to be made. MILLIONS of players but I get 8. Thank you for a jacked up game.............STILL.

    Yea that is a stupid post. You do relize turf cars are won on points, right. And with that I can't make the needed points in order to help my team win that car. You realize that too, right. So how am I to make my normal 25k plus points racing the same 8 people. Maybe you are not on a top 100 team so it's not an issue for you but I am and it is an issue. This game is restricting me from making the points I am supposed to make. Familiarize yourself with a top 100 team and then tell me to chill because the car you are working so hard for is out of reach due to no fault of your own.

    Well we are all divided into servers unfortunately but the best thing that you can do is detune(if you're short on funds) or if you have mills you can just upgrade depending in what lobby you are the more players that will appear

    Hemi is right on point here, it's very frustrating being on a top 100 team and not being able to make your points due to empty rooms, I tried 4 different room ratings tonight and never had more than 6 people in a room, some had 3 or less, and as we are on the same team, I can assure you all that Hemi is a great points producer and knows full well how to tune and retune for rooms.

    even in reg lobbys i tried 4 different cars and each time ended up with a lobby with 3 bots and MAYBE two people so i dont think its just turf lobbys. but i agree how are u suppose to get your needed points when theres no one to race? OP have u tried detuning or uptuning?

    Thats always been a problem. Its always the same people every event every turf. Unless it changed since the last update i wouldnt kno cause i cant even get my garage to load before it crashes on me
