Deer Hunt will not load

Help I cannot play my game, update does not go it stops at about 70% and does not finish is there a way to disable the update so I can get on playing ?

    go through the process like you are going to submit the crash log, then view the information it's going to send and take a close look at the section reported for the crash. I was able to determine that there was a java conflict (it was right in the report) with another program that had recently been updated. As soon as I removed the program (identified in the crash log) everything worked. In my case, it reported a java exception associated with the Drippler app - as soon as I uninstalled Drippler, everything worked.
