What are Platinum Eagles For?

Hi There: I'm new to Deerhunter 2014 and LOVE this game. I'm in region 3 and have just begun to get Platinum Eagles. What are they for, and how do I get more of them?

    U get em in Hidden Region Hunts & U use em 2 upgrade your bows & crossbow........wHen U get 2 em

    To collect more PE's start in region 3 with the weapon series and rare hunts, you will see that every time you successfully complete a weapon series hunt, 8 hours will be taken away for the next rare hunt to open. You will quickly see that you will get some PE's and probably a "rare hunt call" to open the next rare hunt. Keep working on those and collect PE's to upgrade until you can afford to purchase the bow in region 4. Then collect the map pieces to open the lost temple region. You will not be able to get the bow until you finish the weapon series in level 3. By then you should have enough PE's to buy the bow.

    It takes a while to open the lost temple, but keep working at it and you will get it.

    No. Facebook (pc) and mac are on a different schedule then mobile devices.
