Gameplay bug - not enough animals spawning

Region 5, crossbow challenge. "Kill 3 dail sheep. I've attempted this challenge about 20 times. I've even restarted the iPhone 4 three times. But, only one of the sheep needed to complete this challenge will spawn, and always in the same place. There is at least one other challenge in another region with the same issue.

    Try using infr-red scope and scan the area, they are there and well hidden.

    If the game wants you to kill 3, instead of 8 or 10, it means the sheep is SOMEWHERE there! Not spawning from outside the screen! You need to have your eyes checked by a doctor!
