Trouble with upgrades

So I am hunting in region 5 (Alaska) and to complete the trophy hunts I need to make an upgrade to my rifle for the stability to be 99%.
I went from the region 4 rifle to the region 6 rifle (Grantham Huntsman) and I am unable to upgrade the rifle to 99% stability, therefore unable to complete the region.

Any ideas?

    I'm guessing you may need the Region 5 gun.

    It will upgrade to 99.2%. Just keep paying.

    Just looked at the rifles and a fully upgraded Region 5 or 6 will work. Region 5 is 99% and Region 6 is 99.2%.
