Just asked the team and they said that it should be available on 2.1.0. Have you updated?
I have the 2.1.0 update that was pushed 4/25 - indicates we can go to the open season in regions 3 and 4 - but it's not there on the kindle. I play the game on FB and it's there so I know what I am looking for.
So after I uninstall the game, will I lose all progrss abd all the gold I have saved up for the open season event, which I currently do not have and the forced update didn't go through. I am on a HTC one smartphone. I didn't know if the update went out for that or no
Do you have your game stored on cloud or a sd card? Either way you should be able to uninstall from device and the reinstall, as long as you have it saved on one of the above. But go at your own caution!

Just restart your device, and then open the DH2014.
Wait for the Update.
And the Open Season event should be there.
