Exiting out on ipad

Silly question, but how do I completely exit out of the game on iPad .

Minimizing and swiping closes it. It will reload again when you open it. To completely remove it, you have to go into settings and remove the app.

double tap the home button and then swipe away the mulitask for that app

I'd like to see it say " are you sure you exit " yes/no but I guess it doesn't show that on iPad.

Just minimize it by using the home button and swipe to close it. Just don't hold down the icon till it bounces. That is where you risk losing the app altogether. When the icon is vibrating/bouncing, that means it is vulnerable. Clicking the x at the top right will most definitely delete the game from your system and you will lose any progress.

Got it now, thanks muskox, just used to the way it is on kindle. But I coming along on this iPad! I like it a lot.
