Is it possible to get a brain shot without using infrared?

    The only other way you can get a brain shot without using infrared is if an animal attacks you and gives the option of a brain shot. Hope this helps.

    No, it will be counted as a head shot. The only way is to use infrared and make sure its not the eye.

    This is the only other way I know how to get a brain shot W/O using infrared...

    oh, I get frustrated when I'm attempting to shoot the brain and hit the eye LOL..I think if "eye shot" was a bounty, I'd be half-way to finished with it by now LOL

    I hate it when they move just a smidg and it's now a head shot instead of brain

    I find an assault riffle gives you a much smaller cross hair than other guns while hunting the species that are known to attack and get a better opportunity to a vital shot.

    This is a hand gun. A little bit bigger crosshairs and you are correct about the eye bounties.
