You can find it from the Launch screen under Options then About. That let's us know if your data is all up to date. It should say v2.3.0 with a date of 8/28/2014 just under it.
I am having the same issue in Facebook. No rare hunts. And now I can't even advance in the hunts due to not having enough silver coins to upgrade weapons, which I can only get from rare hunts. Same issue using Firefox, Chrome, and IE and the version shows as Deer Hunter 2014 v2.3.3 with a date of 8/28/2014 6:50:31 PM
