Time to say goodbye?

Well. After almost a year of playing DH and defending it always, I think I might be saying goodbye. To much gold bein asked for guns we never get to use again. Winning guns I already own. And gold so hard to come by. And now I find GLU has switched DH to trialpay so now gold is even harder to get. I loved this game but the appeal is gone. tapjoy was good but trial pay is why my interest in dino hunter was so short. Sorry glu. I just can't see why you made such a ****py decision.

Thanks for the feedback on TrialPay vs. Tapjoy. Can you tell us specifically what makes TrialPay worse for you?

I agree with the gold being so hard to get, specially now with these holiday hunts everyone wants to do and all a sudden you need 400+ gold to buy a stupid gun to continue to play it. I dont have that kinda gold and if they think im going to buy it there crazy.. They need to think of a way to put them in the game and bounty rewards dont count since they take forever to

I agree the game is good but not literally hundreds and hundreds of real money to buy guns and upgrades. Seriously some of these weapons cost over $109 to buy and upgrade without playing for literally years and years for 1gold level ups to cover them. Seriously where do you developers get these numbers from? I used to pay for gold and gems for freedom games till I realized that the cost goes up and up and through the roof. And what sucks more is that now pc amd console based games are starting in on the greed. Most pc games out today have way better graphics and more imaginative game levels plus more complex multiplayer levels yet only charge a $100 at most for their games and manage to maintain profits and reliability with upgrades etc... so why on earth do you people think that these prices are justified? It's criminal and I can't think of any other product that can get away with such overt greed and extortionate pricing on their products. You know that once the noobies to freemium realize that you will charge them over and over and at increasing amounts for these games that they will end up like me and countless others and refuse to pay for any of your games.

I am very disappointed with this event also. Just with the information that we have so far (the 2 last series will be unlocked on Christmas date and will probably require spending a lot of gold as well), forcing me to spend a fair amount of gold (some 460 +) to be able to do series that reward weapons that I already have (like the Kringle or the Clayton SA02) and which I bought with gold at previous events, or weapons with a very limited use (the R16 AR Clayton Guerrilla is perfectly avoidable as there are no club hunts and the R16 contract hunts can be easily completed with the R15 AR Hauer Valve) is hard to understand.

Well check out all the post about trial pay on the dino hunter forum will tell you more than you need to know. But specifically for me. I have completed numerous trial pay tasks and after waiting days have to send a request for my gold for every one. They want confirmation emails and screen shots. And then half the time I provided the requested things I was informed I did something wrong and wouldn't receive my gold. Frustrating. Never did this happen with tapjoy. The longest I ever waited for gold from tapjoy was about 16 hours and only once did I have to submit a request. You have to submit a help request EVERY time for trialpay. It's why I have stopped playing Dinohunter and why I will probably stop playing deer hunter. By the way I have not deleted dino just don't play it anymore. I don't have extra money lying around to play apps. I don't mind earning gold but it's nice to actually get it.

Okay, that's good to know. Thanks for the feedback. Will forward to team.

And I always find it funny that never once do admins address this issue about pricing. Every time I ask them to explain the extortionate pricing the thread immediately gets multiple responses about other things so that what I wrote is lost in the sea of responses.

My question is how much gold do you need to buy all the specialty weapons and upgrades for all the levels where play money can't be used? Amd how much real money does this equate to. Yes I know you can watch adverts etc... as well as complete levels etc... for one to five or so gold a time. So please answer that glu admin. And if you don't know then ask the development team or similar thank you

If you refuse to answer my questions you leave me no alternative but to post legitimate links for hacking your game on my facebook page and google+ along with instructions on how to use them. I've had enough of this type of silence and I ask all players to start similar threads ask in the same question amd to like this post as well. And remember post it on the glu facebook page again and again till they either answer or change their over pricing for freemium games

Wow. Well, first, admins are on periodically so "silence" is on purpose. Second, we don't know the answers to all of your questions- especially complicated pricing structures. Third, demanding responses and threatening us is a surefire way to get banned. Thanks for making it crystal clear.

No. He gets banned for requesting things at gun point. Threatening your host does not show good manners at all, so if you are invited to leave you should not get surprised.

One thing is being in total disagreement with what GLU is doing (I am, as my last posts make clear). A very different one is threatening the one who offered you the possibility of sharing it with others.

I just wish I could use some of my almost 180,000,000 I've earned so far. I enjoy working up the ranks and find myself around 1980 at this point. Miss the club hunts.

Once the last two series (A-Kane-47 and Ginger Snap) have been unlocked today I confirm everything I said. With an OTO of 349 in both cases, this means that one has to spend some 1200 golds on the Christmas event to get a bunch of silvers, weapons that many of us already have, and a rifle of series 17 (that will have its own OTO when R17 is released). Not interested, really.

Their rating I'm sure is a f. Their a app developer I wouldn't care what the BBb thought of me either. I was fine and happy with tapjoy. I have no problem earning gold for a free game to do the fun stuff. And really if Apple let us have glu wallet, then I would care less if it was tapjoy or trial pay. By the way GluAdmin. Just a example. I'm currently playing contract killer. To get some gold I thought I would try again and did one of the offers from trial pay. It was for signing up my email with big 5. And it was for 16 gold. It's been 2weeks. I have received 0 gold and about 10 emails from big 5. I haven't submitted a ticket yet cause frankly I shouldn't have to. Tapjoy would have sent me my gold within minutes. Trialpay sucks. I loved dino hunter and I agree the gold required was high and the deficulty in getting it ruined dino hunter for me. I have a feeling it's gonna ruin deer hunter for me as well

I suppose I'll take the opposite view.

I still enjoy playing DH 2014 with or without the events. The eventual weapons earned through the events will eventually be made available for purchase using standard means if they are required. Although they do look fun, especially this one, I usually choose to pass on them. This does not detract me from playing.

    Agree with you about Dino.

Like others have said, Tapjoy rewards are almost instant. Trialpay rewards almost always need to be begged for. We should not have to beg. We do what they ask for so reward us. That's all we are asking for.
