I am in standard hunt 5-alaska. I have completed all hunts except the final trophy hunt - Morozko. It states I need a rifle with at least 98.8% stability. Now I have a Standard 6 rifle - Grantham Huntsman. I have purchased all upgrades and the stability will not go above 97.8%.
Is this accurate? Do I need higher than a standard 6 rifle to complete standard 5 hunts? I was about to quit playing and uninstall, as I don't have the funds in the game to do so, or care to play a million hunts to get the $. But wanted to check here first before I give up as I love playing the game. Thank you

You are still missing an upgrade I think.
I don't see much advantage of buying a higher region rifle. You need to spend a lot of money to fully upgrade sight, stock, barrel and muzzle to do the lower region trophy hunts, while doing the lower region contract hunts that don't pay as much.
Get middle region rifle..
Hunt first region, then middle, and use hollow points on last....
Can jump forward quickly doing that

Region 18 only let me get to around Hunt 32 in the Hunting Series using the R17 gold rifle and hollow points. I eventually had to buy the R18 rifle after all.
Funny thing was that I was prevented from doing Hunt 33 because "infrared is required" despite the fact that I had infrared on the R17 rifle and had used it regularly to that point. Once I bought and upgraded the R18 rifle, I was able to progress and finish the last few hunts.
