Question about Elite series hunt

I am new to this game and I am now in region 3 trying to do the elite series hunt I can not get past the duck one. Now I noticed there is a timer will the elite series reset and I get new ones or does it just go away? I really like this game and don't want to quick but might have to if the elite series just goes away.

    The elite hunt ends when the timer reaches zero. So if you want to play them you have to do it within the limited time.

    If the ducks are the problem, just use a shotgun alongside the event gun needed. Then it's much easier, a region 3 shotgun should do just fine.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the Unity player and no rare hunts. Just an FYI
